Pure Aloha, Oktoberfest, and Foodie Friday?
PURE ALOHA IS UPON US. The 9th annual event here in Las Vegas will be taking place this weekend, the 3rd-5th, at the convention parking lot of The Rio Hotel. For a measly $8 admission (or $6 for children and seniors) you will be able to experience live music and entertainment, over 100 specialty food and retail venders, and a carnival! Bring your ohana (or family) and enjoy a weekend of fun and food!
Oktoberfest will in fact be happening right here in Las Vegas! 3 different events will be taking place in different locations all around the Las Vegas valley.
FIRST - The Las Vegas Oktoberfest will be taking place first on October 5th at Neonopolis of the Downtown area. For a $35 admission fee and the proceeds going towards the American Parkinson Disease Association, you will be able to experience a silent auction, stein holding contest, DJs and everything German!
NEXT- Oktoberfest Pool Party held at The Golden Nugget on October 11th. This event will be part of the Nuggets 2 day Fall Beer Festival. $57.48 fee will get you 125 craft beers to sample from 30 different breweries, live music and great food (!). If beer isn't your thing and you just want to party, admission is FREE (such a beautiful word).
LAST- Las Vegas Oktoberfest (name seems familiar doesn't it?). Free and open to anyone and everyone, The 6th annual event will be taking place on October 4th at Centennial Plaza at the Historic 5th Street school. From 2-9pm you can enjoy authentic German music, dancing, food, and lots o' beer! (There will be activates for the kids as well).
Check out one or all of the events above!
Soo.. I had an idea and I want your opinion (yes you). Each Friday from here on out I will be visiting a Vegas hotspot, either ones well known throughout the community or ones I believe should be well known. I will then write a little something something about the place right here for you all to read, share, like, love, or hate. If YOU know of a spot and think their name should be shouted from the roof tops, I would absolutely love to be able to share your spots as well. Below you will find a few little boxes. Fill in those boxes and help everyone in Las Vegas eat better (and be somewhat of a hero for it).
Enjoy the rest of this fabulous Hump Day everyone, cheers!
