The fabulous dining experience that is
Katsuya at SLS Hotel and Casino
When it comes to sake and sushi, Master Sushi Chef Katsuya Uechi is no stranger to the art of Japanese cuisine with American style. Located on the main casino floor of The SLS Hotel and Casino, Katsuya has been making a splash in the culinary scene here in Vegas since its grand opening a few years back. Sushi and sashimi being prepped and prepared right in the heart of the restaurant allows guests to socialize and enjoy the cool atmosphere, private rooms for larger parties and sectioned off booths for a casual intimacy for you and your guests. Birthday celebration for a friend called for a girls night out with great food and even better drinks.

what's better then free food? Free live music!
X Ambassadors at The Foundry at SLS Hotel and Casino
featuring Vegas locals, The Killers!
The concert consisted of all of their major singles including "Mr. Brightside", "Somebody Told Me", "Smile Like You Mean It" and many many more. The pyrotechnics and visual effects of the show were spot on especially for a grand opening show. My only complaint was the sound quality as you went higher in the arena got worse and worse. Being in the good ol' nose bleed seats, it got difficult at times to understand what Flowers was saying to the crowd in-between songs.
Being considered one of the greatest rock bands of the 21st century and being the most successful rock band to emerge out of Nevada, The Killers were the perfect choice for The T-Mobile Arena grand opening.
What's on the menu this week?
SOHO Sushi Burrito
2600 W Sahara Ave
What's better then sushi? Sushi that you can eat on the go. Sushi burritos have personally changed my life and I want them to change yours as well. Chef John Chien Lee of the SOHO franchise has been whippin up Japanese style food for over 20 years. Along with SOHO Japanese Restaurant, Lee has made his self a name here in the valley. SOHO Sushi Burritos offers a (surprisingly) large menu including burritos (pre-made reciepes or make your own), salads, rice bowls, nachos, juices, all different protein types and a salsa bar!
Let's eat! Where should we all go to next?
