Unfortunately that last one won't be able to be done until February some time now that the mid-season final is over. This is how I feel about not being able to see Ricks beard until then:
The Black Keys and their nominations of Best Rock Album for Turn Blue, Best Rock Song for Fever and Best Rock Performance for Fever.
Jack White and his nomination for Best Rock Song for Lazaretto
Paramore and their nomination for Best Rock Song for Aint It Fun
Bastille and their nomination for Best New Artist
Hozier and his nomination for Song Of The Year for Take Me To Church (!!!!!!!!!)
Alt J, Arcade Fire, Cage The Elephant, St. Vincent and Jack White all up for Best Alternative Music Album (again, !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
SOJA and their album Amid the Noise and Haste for Best Reggae Album
I am a fan of all the nominations this year but these are some of the nominees that I feel deserve everything that comes their way. Way to rock the music world this year ya'll.
I love love love these guys and the way they perform and everything about them really. The boys will be releasing Leftovers on Tuesday, December 9th! The EP will be available for streaming on Spotify. Leftovers will include 5 tracks:
1. Sucker For Love
2. Dave’s Pickup Truck
3. Best Friend’s T-Shirt/Saudia
4. Three’s Company/Take Me Home
5. Strip To This (Acoustic) feat. ForteBowie
Cherub is also excited to announce their Strip To This Tour starting in January of next year. The 27 stop tour will be joined by friends Mystery Skulls and ForteBowie. Yes, I am pretty bitter they won't be stopping in Vegas on this tour but hey let's not forget about this beautiful moment in time:
Angela Gail and Jeffrey Jacob combine a little bit of rock with a little bit of indie. These two know just how to produce a song that makes you feel like you should jam out to it BUT you know that wouldn't be the cool thing to do. They are soooo mellow in their music videos and live performances that you could say they are "chill as f***" (as the kids would say). I think that mainly stems from when the two both became tired of the grunge rock bands they had been in prior. The LA based duo are pretty brand new to the music industry (new as in 2013) but they are making a big splash in the indie rock world. "They don’t sound like they’re from Mars… but they certainly seem to be aggressively refusing to fit into any genre." (a quote about the band). Their debut album "The Belt" is out now and available in stores and online. I do think this duo has a lot in store for them and I'm sure they gotta be pretty excited about it....even though they have a hard time showing it. (I'm really not kidding, the two just don't smile). Oh well, I still think your music is pretty rad In To The Valley Below.
